College of DuPage hosts Student Digital Systems Design Project Showcase

Ten teams comprising more than two dozen engineering students from the Introduction to Digital Systems class recently shared and discussed their design projects during the Digital Systems Student Project Design Showcase at the College of DuPage.

The event included displays describing the students' projects and interactive breadboard designs, including projects such as an 8-bit binary computer, a burglar alarm system, countdown timer and a digital Connect Four-inspired game. During the showcase, the projects were judged and voted on by attendees on elements such as engineering design, creative thinking and teamwork.
