Emerging Entrepreneurs Mentorship Program Seeking Makers for First Maker Market

The E2 Emerging Entrepreneurs Mentorship program at College of DuPage is seeking individuals with products, services or ideas for the College's first Maker Market.

The Maker Market, scheduled for Wednesday, April 11 in the Student Services Living Room will feature products, services and entrepreneurial ideas provided by students, staff, faculty and members of the community.

Maker Market information booths will be positioned on the College's Glen Ellyn campus this fall, including a booth in the Technical Education Center lobby on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a booth in the McAninch Arts Center near room 117, on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 3 to 5 p.m.

In addition, a series of student maker sessions will be held at the Glen Ellyn campus during the spring term. Sessions include Prepping for the Market, Wednesday, Feb. 7; Maker Marketing 101, Thursday, Feb. 22; and Square, Point of Sale App, Wednesday March 14. All sessions will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Student Services Center, Room 3245.
