Inviting all country music lovers, veterans, active duty service members and LOVE Christian Clearinghouse supporters to this Veteran's Day celebration and charity fundraiser which benefits LOVE Christian Clearinghouse and our local veteran's organizations, with great music, food and patriotic spirit for all.
Enjoy "A Country Musical Salute to Veterans" at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 W. Brush Hill Road in Elmhurst. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction from 6 to 8 p.m.
It will feature headliner and well-known Nashville recording artist Darryl Worley (www.darrylworley.com), who is a great supporter of our military families and is well known for his post-911 hit song "Have You Forgotten?"
He'll be joined by Chicago native and Nashville recording artist and singer/songwriter Andrew Salgado (www.andrewsalgado.net), who will be performing songs from his album "Absolutely Everything".
Browse the silent auction items or participate in the live auction for wonderful collectible items such as autographed items personally donated by Darryl and Andrew. Enjoy the purchase of family friendly patriotic themed drinks with such great names as the '4th of July', 'American Beauty', 'The Dream', 'B-52' and 'Freedom'. Tasty food is on the line-up as well.
A limited number of special 'VIP Passes' with seating in the front 2 rows, free valet parking and refreshments in the designated VIP area with Darryl and Andrew are available. 'Meet and Greet Seats' feature seating in rows 3 & 4, with a photo opportunity to meet Darryl are also available. Discounts for veterans, seniors and group purchases are offered.
