COD Hosts Mock Crime Scene for Glendale Heights Junior Police Campers
June 20, 2016 - Middle school students participating in the Glendale Heights Junior Police Camp recently tested their evidence gathering skills at a mock crime scene at the Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. Campers learned to dust for fingerprints and assess evidence at the HEC's 4,300 square-foot, full-scale immersive street scene. The "investigators" examined the crime scene, collected and labeled evidence, and documented their findings as part of the exercise. Click here for more images.
