COD December 'Images' Highlights Electro-Mechanical Technology, 3+1 Programs
Images, College of DuPage¹s monthly one-half hour television show, features in its December edition segments on the College¹s Electro-Mechanical Technology and 3+1 programs.
Each month, ³Images² highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.
The December ³Images² features a segment on the College¹s Electro-Mechanical Technology program, which offers students hands-on training for careers in electrical, mechanical, robotic and manual manufacturing.
This month¹s show highlights programs housed within the College¹s 66,000-square-foot Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center. With a full-scale indoor street scene, forensics and cybercrimes labs, a smoke room, and outdoor scaling and rappelling tower, the HEC provides hands-on training for emergency first responders.
The December edition includes a segment on the College¹s 3+1 programs, which allow students to complete a bachelor¹s degree at COD with a partner college or university at a significantly reduced tuition rate. COD courses are taught for the first three years, with partner university faculty teaching the fourth year at COD¹s campus.
Also featured is ³In the Kitchen with Chris,² with Culinary Professor Chris Thielman. This month, Thielman shares step-by-step instructions on preparing chocolate pots de crème.
Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
