College of DuPage to Host Adult Education Expo on April 24

The Continuing Education department at College of DuPage will host a free Adult Education Expo from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

This event is free and open to the public.

During this event, attendees will learn about free resources available to adult learners, including Adult Basic Education (ABE), a program that prepares students to earn a General Education Development (GED) high school equivalency certificate; GED testing; and the English as a Second Language (ESL) program. In addition, attendees can enroll in COD classes, explore educational and career pathways, learn about diverse cultures, find inspiration through student success stories, and enjoy a student talent show.

Representatives from several of the College's departments, including Academic ESL, Continuing Education, Early Childhood, Health and Sciences, Manufacturing Technology and Travel and Tourism will also be available to provide information and answer questions.

College of DuPage offers a broad range of programs and resources to adult learners who are interested life enhancement in personal and professional development.
