High School Students Jump Start College Through COD's

High school students can get a head start on their college education through the College of DuPage Early Admissions Student program.

A 16-week session begins Jan. 15 and a 12-week session begins Feb. 6, allowing students to enroll in college-level classes while still in high school. Registration is now open.

Program classes are transferable to other colleges and universities and cost $140 per credit hour. Students are able to begin earning their general education credits while exploring various academic areas of study.

Students eligible for the program must be age 18 or older without a high school diploma or GED certificate; must have a cumulative minimum high school GPA of 2.75 (4.0) or 3.75 (5.0); and must take two compass placement tests to demonstrate college readiness. Additionally, students must obtain permission to apply for the program and must complete an interview with an Admissions representative.
