Free Money Smart Week DuPage Fair & Expo at College of DuPage April 21

The Money Smart Week DuPage Fair & Expo is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, from 9:30 to 2 p.m. in the new Homeland Security Education Center at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. The fair is offered free of charge for residents of DuPage and surrounding communities.

“This event is for anyone interested in tips and information regarding personal and consumer finance,” said Joe Cassidy, dean, Continuing Education/Extended Learning at College of DuPage. “The fair is also a great way for parents to introduce their children to concepts of saving and planning for their future.”

“Voice of the Cubs” announcer Wayne Messmer, host of Homelife Jazz on WDCB 90.9fm, will introduce the day's speakers, which include a keynote presentation by Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford. Refreshments and giveaways will also be available throughout the day.
