Chiros Care hosts 'Cruising for Chiropractic Poker Run' Aug. 28
In an effort to raise funds to continue offering free chiropractic care to the homeless population of Chicago, Chiro One Wellness Centers is teaming together with Chiros Care to host a Poker Run Fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 28 to support Chiros Care Free Clinic.
Chiros Care is a nonprofit free chiropractic clinic that is held monthly at Inspiration Corporation located at 4554 N. Broadway St., Suite 207 in Chicago and every Friday at Heartland Health Outreach located at 1015 W. Lawrence Ave. in Chicago.
The 100-mile 'Cruising for Chiropractic Poker Run' will be Sunday, Aug. 28. Registration will be 7 to 9 a.m. at the starting location: Chiro One Wellness Center of Oak Brook located at 2210 Camden Court in Oak Brook. The ending location is Chicago Harley Davidson located at 2929 Patriot Blvd. in Glenview. It will be held rain or shine.
Registration fee is $99; $49 per rider; vehicle fee $99 and includes raffle drawing, lunch at Chicago Harley Davidson, and free event T-shirt for first 50 to register. Poker Run Grand Prize is $300 plus chance to win other great prizes!
The Cruising for Chiropractic is a key fundraiser for Chiros Care Free Clinic. Led by Chiro One of Evanston's Clinic Director, Dr. Cori Bauer, Chiros Care offers complimentary chiropractic care to indigent, homeless and at-risk people of Chicago who do not have health insurance and who cannot afford medical care.
Chiros Care's annual fundraising goal is $20,000 and proceeds will be used to continue to bring chiropractic care to the homeless and for a future mission trip.
