Fox Valley Rep gears up for a busy summer of classes, camps
The Fox Valley Rep Performing Arts Academy is proud to offer a wide variety of performing arts programs this summer at Pheasant Run Resort. From audition-only performances and magic classes to modeling and on-camera workshops, the academy invites youth and teens of all experience levels to participate in one or several programs.
“For ages 3 to 19 years old, we have the most extensive offering of classes in the Fox Valley area,” says Education Manager Tracy Whiteside. “Whether you enjoy singing, comedy, musical theater, or want to try it out for the very first time – we definitely have something here for you.”
FVR Academy Teaching Artists come from all over the Chicagoland area and are experienced, award-winning professionals in their field. The academy also was recently awarded as “The Best Day Camp” by Daily Herald readers.
SUMMER AUDITIONS
"ANNIE" Kids Summer 2011 Mainstage Musical

Ages: 6-12
Open Auditions:
Saturday, June 4 from 10am - 4pm or
Tuesday, June 7 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm
Memorize a one-minute monologue. Prepare 16 bars of a song from a similar style show. Bring CD with backing tracks.
"NOISES OFF" Teens Summer 2011 Play Comedy
Director: Tracy Whiteside
Ages: 13-19
Open Auditions:
Saturday, June 4 from 2-4:00 pm OR
Wednesday, June 8 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm
Prepare and memorize a 1-minute monologue in the style of the show which portrays the character you are most interested in playing. You may be asked to read from the script.
