Adamle’s clutch hit lifts Wheaton North

Jackie Adamle singled in Anne Thomas in the bottom of the seventh, as Wheaton North beat West Aurora 2-1 in the Falcons DuPage Valley Conference opener. Kahla Nolan (5-2) threw a 1-hitter, striking out five, for Wheaton North (7-4, 1-0).
