• Registration for the VolunTeens program runs through May 10 at the Addison Public Library, 2 Friendship Plaza. Students in grades six through 11 can earn volunteer hours for school or religious obligations by helping with the library's summer reading program. • The 11th annual Traditions in Excellence dinner benefit will be at 6 p.m. today at College of DuPage in the Jack H. Turner Conference Center, SRC 2800, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. The event will include a meal prepared by local chefs and students from COD's Hospitality Program, and live and silent auctions.
