Young adults are invited on a spooky scavenger hunt

Among the woodlands, the prairie, and the fog-covered wetlands of LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, lie clues to an unsolved mystery.

Join other 20- and 30-somethings as they go on a fun scavenger hunt around the St. Charles forest preserve for a "Haunted Who-Done-It" nature program.

It will be 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Creek Bend Nature Center in LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean St. in St. Charles.

Attendees will learn how to read the "clues" of wildlife, then apply them to their own "who-done-it" back at the nature center.

This program is offered with the Forest Preserve District of Kane County in partnership with the Geneva Public Library.

Advance registration is required. Call 630-444-3190 or e-mail programs@kaneforest.com to register.
