April 4: CLC sponsors Adult Education Student Success Fair

Are you currently enrolled in Adult Basic Education, GED or ESL classes?

To explore your future career options and employment resources, come to the Student Success Fair sponsored by College of Lake County Adult Basic Education, GED and ESL division April 4. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the CLC Lakeshore Campus, 1 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.

Attendees can meet career program faculty, learn about career certificates by attending short information sessions and speak with CLC staff from advising, counseling and Career and Job Placement Center. Representatives from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, Job Center of Lake County and University Center of Lake County will also be available to answer questions about jobs, paying for college and baccalaureate transfer programs.

The following CLC programs will present information and answer questions at the fair: Dental Hygiene, Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assisting, Health Information Technology, Phlebotomy, Administrative Office Systems, Computer Information Technology, Digital Media and Design, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality and Culinary Arts Management, Horticulture, Automotive Technology, Automotive Collision Repair, Computerized Numerical Control, Mechatronics, HVAC Engineering Technology, Welding and the Workforce and Professional Development Institute's vocational programs.
