Culver's of Lake Zurich Hosts 13th Free Thanksgiving Day Feast Nov. 24

In the spirit of holiday giving, Culver's of Lake Zurich, 645 N. Rand Rd., will host its 13th annual Free Thanksgiving Day Feast, from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Thursday, November 24. The event is open to the public, with all food, drinks and desserts provided complimentary.

Several local churches will team with Culver's to provide this special day of giving. Peace Lutheran Church, Northwest Family Church, St. Peter United Church of Christ, St. Frances de Sales and Long Grove Community Church are among those that will have volunteers preparing food and delivering it to the restaurant on Thanksgiving morning.

"Our traditional feast not only provides a home cooked meal, but also someone to share the holiday with for those who are spending it alone," says Culver's of Lake Zurich owner Steve Anichini. "Serving 200-300 people a warm meal always makes for a wonderful afternoon of fun and celebration, and bringing the community together in the process makes the day even more special."
