Waterleaf Hosts Exclusive Easter Brunch April 20

Waterleaf restaurant in Glen Ellyn invites guests to enjoy an Easter celebration brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, April 20.

This three-course prix fixe holiday brunch will feature a choice of enticing starters, entrées and desserts at a price of $35 for adults and $16 for children aged 12 and under.

"Following the particularly harsh weather of this last winter, we are pleased to offer our guests a memorable Easter celebration that welcomes the spring season with warmth and elegance," said Waterleaf General Manager Jean Pierre Leroux.

First course choices will include Chicken Liver Terrine; Smoked Salmon with grated egg, capers, onion and dill-horseradish sauce; Bacon and Egg Casserole with petit salad; Beet Salad with upland cress, hazelnuts, Pleasant Ridge Reserve artisanal cheese and lemon crème fraîche; French Toast with berry compote; and Butternut Squash-Coconut Soup.

Second course selections include Eggs Benedict with ham and tomato hollandaise; Amish Chicken Breast with cheddar biscuits, sausage gravy and asparagus; Whitefish with chive beurre blanc and leek-corn fondue; Salmon with baby vegetables, caviar and champagne sauce; Lamb Shank with potato purée, baby carrots and red wine Jus; and Petit Filet with forestiere sauce, dauphinoise potatoes and asparagus.

Following the meal, guests can choose from a variety of desserts such as Bread Pudding, Coconut Cake with Lemongrass Ice Cream and Mint Coconut Milk; Mango BrulŽe; Sorbet; and Warm Chocolate Walnut Cake with chocolate sauce.
