COD Latino Ethnic Awareness Association Hosts Salsa/Merengue/Bachata Dance Nov. 7

The College of DuPage Latino Ethnic Awareness Association (LEAA) will host a Salsa/Merengue/Bachata Dance on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 7 to 11:30 p.m. in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, at the College's main campus in Glen Ellyn.

The cost of the event is $8 in advance and $10 at the door, with all funds sponsoring LEAA student scholarships. The evening will feature dance lessons from 7:30 to 8 p.m., with open dancing and Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggaeton and Hip Hop music until 11:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening.

The Latino Ethnic Awareness Association (LEAA) creates and promotes unity on-campus among all students not only Latino/Hispanic students. The group engages students by providing opportunities for growth and development, focusing on academics, and building leadership and networking skills.
