The Tenth Annual Fehlman Memorial Senior All-Star Softball Game will be played on Monday, June 10 at Judson University.

Game time is 6:30 p.m.

The annual event is dedicated to the memory of Dave Fehlman and his son Robbie. Dave Fehlman, who passed away in 2007, was a past president of the Fox Valley Renegades travel softball organization and was a longtime supporter of high school and travel softball in the area. Dave's son, Robbie, was killed June 29, 2012 in Colorado when a car jumped a curb and hit him on his way home from football practice. Robbie was 14. He and his family had just moved to Colorado, where Robbie's sister Lissa is a doctor. Lissa Fehlman is a St. Edward graduate and former Daily Herald all-area softball captain who went on to play four years at Evansville University.

The all-star game features senior softball players from over 20 high schools throughout the Fox Valley area.

Head coaches for this year's game will be Anne Vogt of Larkin and Tom Poulin of St. Charles North.

Admission is free to the game, which is sponsored by the Northern Illinois Lightning and Judson University.

Larkin Slugfest: The pairings have been set for the 20th annual Larkin Slugfest tournament on Saturday, April 27 at the Elgin Sports Complex.
