McHenry County College's Career Expo To Feature Janet Davies of ABC-7

Explore a wide range of career options in robotics, manufacturing and engineering, transportation, warehousing and logistics, culinary management and hospitality, health professions, business and marketing, horticulture, sustainability, automotive, graphic arts and video gaming, and public services at the MCC Career Exploration Showcase on Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at McHenry County College (MCC).

The event is free and open to all ages. Find out about what career to pursue, or learn about new career choices that might be the perfect fit for you. Also, attend a special keynote presentation from ABC 7-Chicago feature and entertainment reporter, Janet Davies. An executive producer and on-air television host, Davies will talk about finding and pursuing your passion as it relates to career success. This session will be held in the Luecht Conference Center at 11-11:45 a.m.

Demonstrations by local businesses and MCC educational programs will highlight a variety of industries. Food will be provided, along with activities for children.

The career exploration showcase is hosted by McHenry County College, in partnership with all McHenry County School Districts, the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation and the Workforce Investment Board. Sponsors for the event include the Northwest Herald and Star 105.5. McHenry County College is located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake.
