Chicagoland Ice Theatre Jr. team takes bronze at national competition

There are many memorable figure skating performances but none so recent as the Chicagoland Ice Theatre Junior team short program during the Theatre On Ice competition in Strongsville, Ohio.

Performing to "Fix You" by Coldplay, their emotional tribute to cancer awareness visibly impacted the judges and spectators.

As they finished their program, the skaters formed the cancer ribbon and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

With a high energy long program, the Junior team captured the Pewter medal and were selected to represent the United States at the 2013 Nation's Cup held in Spain in April.

The Preliminary team charmed the judges with their program full of glitz and glam which earned them the bronze medal.
