Pistons & Amps Poker Run set for Aug. 20

First annual Pistons & Amps Poker Run for Motorcycles & Hot Rod Cars, a fundraiser for the Schaumburg Business Association, will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. Visit www.PistonsAndAmps.com.

It will starts and end at Drink, 871 E. Algonquin Road, Schaumburg, the Largest Outdoor Patio Bar in the Chicago Suburbs.

From 9 to 11 a.m., Registration at Drink, with free coffee and donuts. Last Bike and Car out at 11 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Poker Run will go between Drink and the Fox River. Follow the map for a scenic route.

It stops at Broken Oar, Famous Freddie's Roadhouse & The Snuggery

Cost is $250 for first place and prizes for second and third.

From 3 to 7 p.m., join the After Party at Drink with live music by Rubber (rubber-chicago.com). Bike & Car Show for 1st Place Custom Piston Trophies. Play beach volleyball with the Babes and compete in Cornhole Bags Games
