Rodgers, Doby lead Westminster to win

Senior Night was a good one for Westminster Christian girls basketball players Sarah Rodgers and Rachel Doby.

Rodgers and Doby added to school records they hold as the Warriors downed Mooseheart 53-32 in a Northeast Athletic Conference game in Elgin.

Rodgers scored 11 points in the win. She had 3 steals, giving her a school record 233 for her career. She is also 4 steals from the single-season school record. Doby, who had 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks in the win, now has a school record 114 career blocks, including 44 this season.

The Warriors (10-14, 3-5) also got a big night from 6-foot-1 junior Emily Bickford, who led the team with 16 points and 18 rebounds.
