Marshall Brodien, Sr. made a surprise appearance to add to the festivities.

The evening also featured outstanding vocalists Val and Peggy Bartlein, who made full use of the church's recently installed, state-of-the-art sound system. The system allows for studio recording capabilities in both the sanctuary and conference and celebration activities in Volkening Hall, where the event was held.
