More Than 1,000 Celebrate COD's Spirit Week, Homecoming
Ideal weather combined with food and family fun helped fill the stands with Chaparral Pride at the College of DuPage's first Homecoming in nearly 40 years. The event, held Sept. 27, featured the COD Chaparrals taking on the Georgia Military College Bulldogs. The day's festivities included an alumni brunch and a tailgate party. Additionally, members of the National Guard and the Wounded Warrior Project were on hand to honor COD football players and military veterans Matt Fletcher and Evan Kirk. Earlier in the week, COD students participated in several activities as part of Spirit Week, including a pep rally, photo booth and Chappy Olympics.
