Local Sweet Adeline’s Chorus Gets Ready to Spread Joy with Singing Valentines

The Spring Valley Chorus of Schaumburg is getting ready for another exciting and inspiring Valentine’s Day. Each year the women of the Spring Valley Chorus take a day out of their personal lives to spread love through song on Valentine’s Day. Quartets from the chorus will sing a special Valentine song in four part harmony delivered to a home, office, business, school, nursing home, or other location along with a special Valentine treat and keepsake. Valentines are available for delivery February 14 or 15 in person and by phone.

The Spring Valley Chorus has delivered hundreds of Singing Valentines over the last nine years. Chorus Director, Helen Giallombardo says that “Singing Valentines are a great way to give back to the community while the chorus raises funds to support our musical programming. It’s a win-win project that’s always fun and rewarding.”

The chorus has delivered Singing Valentines in grocery stores, horse barns, construction sites, police departments, schools, hospitals, rehab centers, military bases, private homes, restaurants, offices, and factories. The chorus will go almost anywhere to deliver a love song to a surprised recipient on behalf of a loved one.

The Spring Valley Chorus is an award winning, Sweet Adeline’s women’s barbershop chorus from Schaumburg, IL. For more information on Singing Valentines, call 847-809-5997 or visit the chorus website at www.springvalleychorus.org.
