DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble Hosts Halloween Big Band Dance Oct. 28

The DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble will host a Halloween Big Band Dance on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 1:30 p.m. at the Normandy Banquet Hall, 310 West Butterfield Road in Elmhurst.

This event, directed by College of DuPage jazz studies director Tom Tallman, will feature the ensemble playing timeless dance music including jazz standards, ballads, fox trots and Latin tunes.

The DuPage Community Jazz Ensemble is a 20-piece big band dedicated to having fun, entertaining and playing four decades of classic music. Membership is open to adults and students without audition. The ensemble is one of many music ensembles based at College of DuPage, including the DuPage Chorale, DuPage Community Concert Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and Chamber Singers.
