April 'Images' Highlights 3+1 Programs, WDCB Winter Gala
The April edition of “Images,” College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, highlights the advantages of the College's 3+1 programs and features a segment on WDCB 90.9 FM Public Radio's recent Winter Gala.
Each month, Images highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.
The April show includes a segment on the College's many 3+1 agreements with partner institutions. These innovative programs allow students to complete their baccalaureate degrees through various four-year institutions entirely on the COD campus. Students have the added advantage of paying COD tuition for the first three years of their studies, and paying significantly reduced partner school rates for their final year.
In addition, this month's program features a segment on student-prepared lunches and dinners at Wheat Café. Located in the Culinary & Hospitality Center, the 60-seat casual dining restaurant is staffed by Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality Management students. Students use fresh regional and seasonal ingredients in their American cuisine, and menus change each month.
This month's edition also features a look at WDCB 90.9 FM Public Radio's Winter Gala. This annual fundraiser features live music, food, dancing and a silent auction.
The April edition also features a segment with Waterleaf Executive Chef Jean Louis Clerc and Waterleaf General Manager Jean-Pierre Leroux, preparing the restaurant's crème brulee and Floating Island desserts.
Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
