Buckwheat Zydeco Performs at the MAC March 10

Celebrating 30 years as one of the hottest zydeco bands around, Buckwheat Zydeco bring the Fat Tuesday sounds of New Orleans to an 8 p.m. performance Saturday, March 10, to the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn.

Accordionist and organist Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural Jr. has performed with a number of artists, including Eric Clapton, U2 and the Boston Pops. The Grammy and Emmy winner has performed his southern sounds for audiences around the world, bringing his energy and flair to every performance.

Buckwheat Zydeco has played many major music festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bumbershoot, Montreaux Jazz Festival, and the Voodoo Experience.

Tickets to Buckwheat Zydeco are $38 or adults, $36 for seniors and $28 for College of DuPage students and youth.
