Advocate Condell President named to Gift of Hope board
Ann Errichetti, MD, MBA, President of Advocate Condell Medical Center, is among the most recent appointments to the Board of Directors of Gift of Hope, a not-for-profit organization that coordinates organ and tissue donation.

Gift of Hope works with 180 hospitals serving 12 million people in Illinois and Northwest Indiana. It is one of 58 organ procurement organizations that make up the nation's donation system. Since 1987, Itasca-based Gift of Hope has saved the lives of more than 18,000 organ transplant recipients and improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of tissue transplant recipients.
Dr. Errichetti is one of 15 members on the Board of Directors, which also includes executives from other hospitals, health care advocates, community leaders and elected officials. Many board members have personal experience with organ and tissue donation.
Dr. Errichetti became President of Advocate Condell Medical Center in January 2009 after three highly successful years as President of Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill. Under her leadership at Advocate Condell, the hospital's indicators of clinical quality, patient satisfaction, associate and physician satisfaction, growth and financial performance have shown significant increases. These successes contributed to Advocate Condell being named among the “Top Chicago Hospitals” by U.S. News and World Report in 2011 and a Top Performer (top 14 percent of accredited hospitals) based on superior performance in quality by The Joint Commission. In addition to leading Advocate Condell, Dr. Errichetti also is the Chief Academic Officer for Advocate Health Care, serving as the liaison between three medical school affiliates and more than 600 medical residents and fellows throughout the Advocate system. A board-certified cardiologist and Fellow in the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Errichetti received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston. She also earned an MBA from Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
