Runners cross the bridge westbound in the 5th annual Bob Leonard 5K Run and Walk-A-Thon at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles on Saturday, August 6. The event benefits the River Corridor Foundation. Leonard was a pioneer in that his love was the riverfront. He was a passionate foundation member and fundraiser and was at the front of the pac in raising money for the riverfronts beautification.
