COD students sweep CAD awards from Illinois Landscape Contractors Association

College of DuPage students swept the top three spots in the College CAD Division during the recent Illinois Landscape Contractors Association's Landscape Design Contest.

Monique Dusek-Sparacino of Bartlett took first place, followed by Jeanine Camaren of Western Springs in second and Julie Janoski of Wheaton in third.

In addition, Andrew Weston of Warrenville, a high school student who also takes COD courses, finished first in the High School CAD Division. Brian Clement is the instructor for all of these students.

In other categories, COD student Chris Schweitzer of Elmhurst finished fifth in the College Hand-Drawn Division. Laverne Bohlin is the instructor.
