Glenbard East hands Naperville North first DVC loss

Glenbard East 11, Naperville North 8: A 6-run fourth inning carried the host Rams, who handed the Huskies (12-8, 4-1 DuPage Valley Conference) their first conference loss. Jenna Camp had a 3-run double for Glenbard East (9-11, 2-3).

Naperville Central 4, Wheaton North 0: Alyssa Wunderlich (9-4) struck out 12 and Jill Andreoni went 2-for-4, drove in a run and scored a run for Naperville Central (12-7, 4-1 DVC), who scored all its runs in the second.

Glenbard North 5, West Aurora 0: Jenny Nelson hit a 2-run homer, her seventh of the year, and Lilly Fecho also hit a 2-run shot for Glenbard North (11-5, 3-2 DVC).

Glenbard South 6, Plainfield Central 5: Brianna Meath went 2-for-4 and scored 2 runs and Jenny Wittenberg 2-for-4 with a run scored for Glenbard South (18-2).

Benet 12, Carmel 0: Shellie Schaffer slugged a grand slam and Mikayla Panko went 4-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI for Benet (12-9, 4-2 East Suburban Catholic Conference), which won its seventh straight.
