Naperville North 8, Glenbard North 5: Sammy Marshall went 3-for-3 and scored 4 runs, and the Huskies knocked off the defending DuPage Valley Conference champs for their fifth straight win. Kendall Vassar went 2-for-3 with 2 runs batted in and Caitlyn Warren 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI for Naperville North (7-6, 1-0). Susan Lindstrom had a double and triple for Glenbard North (7-3, 0-1).

Naperville Central 7, West Aurora 0: Alyssa Wunderlich (6-3) struck out six in a 2-hitter as the Redhawks snapped a three-game skid. Katie Walker went 3-for-3 and Meghan Griffin 2-for-3 for Naperville Central (7-6, 1-0 DVC). Kelsey Gonzalez tripled and scored on a wild pitch in the first.

Lisle 2, Seneca 1: Mackenzie Buchelt doubled and scored the go-ahead run for the Lions (6-5, 3-2 Interstate Eight Conference) in the bottom of the fifth. Bekka Houda (4-3) struck out 11.

Glenbard West 9, Hinsdale Central 1: Jenna Ortega and Michele Waggoner both went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, Ortega driving in 3 runs and scoring twice. Waggoner scored 3 times for Glenbard West (5-9, 1-0 West Suburban Silver Conference).

Downers Grove North 5, York 1: Elaine Heflin (6-1) struck out 15 as the Trojans (10-3, 2-0 West Suburban Silver) ran their win streak to nine straight games. Kendall Ryndak went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

Downers Grove South 8, Addison Trail 0: Danielle Trezzo hit her fourth homer in four games, going 4-for-5 with a double and 4 RBI for the No. 5 Mustangs (10-1, 1-0 West Suburban Conference Gold Conference). Winning pitcher Katie Talbot (7-0) struck out 11.

Joliet 4, Neuqua Valley 3: Leigh Nebendahl went 2-for-4 and Jena Boudreau had a double and 2 RBI, but the visiting No. 14 Wildcats (9-5) had their five-game win streak snapped.

Immaculate Conception 8, St. Edward 5: Maria Kieliszewski went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI as the visiting Knights (10-5, 5-0 Suburban Christian) won their seventh straight. Katelyn Conenna went 2-for-3 with a double for IC, which has won nine of its last 10.

St. Francis 3, Guerin 0: Taylor Ronchetto (10-5) twirled a shutout, and Bri Pasquale knocked in the game's first run in the fifth.

Montini 15, Aurora Christian 0: Dana Rutkowski went 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored 2 runs for the Broncos (5-11, 3-2 Suburban Christian).

Fenton 10, Chicago Academy 0: Alyssa Ciepley (1-1) earned her first career victory with a complete-game 2-hitter, striking out six. Gina Dawson, Missy Santagata and Tara Lawson scored 2 runs for Fenton (5-9).
