Cary-Grove d. Dundee-Crown: The Trojans (31-4, 10-0) continued their domination on the court as they downed the Chargers (7-21, 0-10) 25-16, 25-11 in Fox Valley (Valley) action Tuesday night.

Abbey Heredia paced Cary-Grove with 15 assists while Casey Grochinski added 6 digs defensively. Ashley Rosch provided a big presence at the net coming up with 3 blocks.

The Chargers were led by Alyssa Sarrazine and Alexa Shemanske, who recorded 2 kills each.

Hampshire d. South Elgin: The Whip-Purs (25-3) were challenged on senior night as they battled with the Storm (13-18-1) to a 31-29 finish in Game 1, but Hampshire picked up the pace and cruised to an easy 25-9 victory in the second game to win this nonconference match. Senior Amy Wehrs recorded a match-high 13 kills while twin sister Kara Wehrs also recorded a match-high in assists with 19. Jennifer Hubbe and Tia Incapreo paced the Whip-Purs' defensively with 10 and 9 digs respectively. Alyssa Krause led the Storm offense with 6 kills and Courtney Sanocki added 10 assists.

Crystal Lake South d. McHenry: The Gators (23-7, 7-3) came out on top in this Fox Valley (Valley) matchup as they defeated McHenry in a close 26-24, 25-20 victory. Chelsea Sirovatka dished out 23 assists while Brittany Atkinson set the tone with 10 kills. Senior Caitlin Schumacher paced the Gators defensively with 8 digs.

Burlington Central d. St. Edward: The Green Wave (8-26) made the most of senior night, taking a strong Burlington Central (26-8) team to 3 games, but the Rockets proved to be too much as they defeated St. Edward 23-25, 25-15, 25-14. Stephanie Holthus dominated the night with 21 kills to go along with 5 aces while Taylor Scully chipped in 10 kills. Kaitlyn O'Reilly dished out 28 assists and recorded 9 digs defensively. Brenda Thasavong (6 kills, 4 blocks) and Audrey Djukic (3 kills, 3 blocks) also contributed in the victory. Stephanie Igielski recorded a team-high 7 kills for the Green Wave while Kristi Knott added 5 kills. Katie Ayello led the defensive efforts with 21 digs.
