Dan Duffy for state senate

I am writing this letter on behalf of Dan Duffy for whom I worked as an intern over the summer.

As a college student studying political economics who will vote for the first time, I am especially concerned about the economy - both at the national and state level. In Springfield, this problem can clearly be traced to two issues - high taxes on businesses (which discourage job growth) and wasteful spending on unnecessary and inefficient programs.

Dan Duffy is a small-business man who understands the kind of environment in which businesses succeed and prosper - low taxes and one in which hard working and resourceful citizens are rewarded. Dan Duffy will help to usher in a new era of fiscal responsibility, something this state has been sorely lacking.

Not only does Dan possess the knowledge to lead our state but, more importantly, he is a person of high moral character and has a strong commitment to help others. He is a man of honor who would use his office to help others rather than to simply further his own political career or financial gain. He is a caring man who inspires others to perform their best every day. I truly believe Dan has the right attitude to inspire and enact real change in Springfield.
