CLC's 37th Recent Works exhibit runs Oct. 13 to Nov. 11

View a variety of award-winning work created by local artists at the College of Lake County's 37th Annual Recent Works Juried Competition, on display from Oct. 13 to Nov. 11 at the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art.

Approximately $2,000 in cash prizes and purchase awards will be given to artists selected for the exhibit. An opening reception, including award announcements, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13 in the gallery, with refreshments and live music by the Rick Embach and Jim Seidel duo.

The Gallery of Art is located in the Library at the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St. Please park in Lot 1 on the north side of campus and enter through the Technology Building entrance (T1). Gallery hours: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; closed Sundays. Hours vary during college breaks and between semesters. For information on the exhibit, call (847) 543-2040.
