Community can give input on next CLC president

As part of the search process for a new president of the College of Lake County, the Pauly Group, Inc. will hold a series of interactive community sessions Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 23 and 24, at the college's three campuses.

Angela Provart, president of Pauly Group, will lead an interactive session during which community members are invited to give input on the characteristics needed in the next CLC president.

Interested community members can join one of three conversations:

• 5:30-6:30 p.m. Aug. 23, Grayslake Campus, Mainstage Theatre, James Lumber Center, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake.

• 10-10:45 a.m. Aug. 24, Lakeshore Campus, Room 008, 1 N. Genesee St., Waukegan.

• 2-2:45 p.m. Aug. 24, Southlake Campus, Room V120, 1120 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills.

"We look forward to receiving input from the Lake County community as we enter this exciting phase of the college's history," CLC Board Chairman Richard A. Anderson said.

On June 27, the CLC board selected the Pauly Group, an academic search consulting firm focused on community and technical colleges, to conduct the presidential search.

The plans are to have a final candidate selected and able to start between March and July 2018. Until that time, Dr. Rich Haney is serving as interim president.
