Alligator Aquatics goes to Arizona to Train!

Alligator Aquatics takes the opportunity to train at Arizona State University! This year's summer season started with a travel training trip to ASU. Twenty swimmers plus 3 coaches, Mary Ruffin (head coach), Sam Wilcher (head age group coach) and Stacy Cassidy (senior age group coach) gathered at O'Hare airport over the weekend and headed to Arizona for a week of training.

This is an opportunity of a life time to swim at one of the finest outdoor pools in the country.

The week will be filled with intense water training, out of the water training and classes about nutrition, goal setting and personal motivation. They will also have the pleasure of a group meeting with Michael Phelp's coach Bob Bowman.

The Alligators will also take some time for fun, a little tube ride down the Salt River. This will be a much needed diversion. When they come back its back to training for the summer season ahead. There are many upcoming meets to get ready for including our championship season.
