Musicians gather for annual TubaChristmas Saturday

Cambridge Music Outreach joins in the 43rd annual TubaChristmas with guest director Matthew Bishop on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Algonquin Commons, off Randall Road.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m., with indoor rehearsal at 11 a.m. and the outdoor concert at noon.

Tuba and euphonium players from all over Northern Illinois will gather together to serenade mall shoppers with traditional Christmas carols.

It is free for spectators, but there is a $10 fee to play in the concert.

Players should bring your own music stand and TubaChristmas score. Scores and accessories will be available for purchase at the event.

To RSVP, email Bethany Nelson, director of Cambridge Music Outreach, at BethanyNelson880@gmail.com.
