Elgin Juniors Road Rally Ruckus raises funds for Little Angels

Teams from A1-Cab, the Lions Club and Little Angels joined members of Elgin Junior Woman's Club in their annual "Road Rally Ruckus" event on Sept. 20 to raise funds for Little Angels Center for Exceptional Care. Teams deciphered clues that would lead them to different sites in the Elgin area.

Upon arrival, the team would take a photo or a video of themselves following instructions from the clue. Team members tap danced in front of Elgin Artspace, saluted the flag at Veterans Park, and smiled for the camera at Elgin Public Museum. The event raised more than $2,500 for Little Angels.

Elgin Junior Woman's Club is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Club members work in the Northern Fox Valley community to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, encourage civic involvement, and serve the needy.
