The Listening Room presents Athena Oct. 11

Crystal Lake, IL - On Saturday, Oct. 11, the Listening Room is proud to present up-and-coming solo artist Athena at 8 p.m. Her debut album strings together an authentic county soulfulness with a southern rock and Americana influence. It visits heartache, divorce, time lost, the road to sobriety, and ultimately, finding love for one's authentic self. Hearing Athena's sincere message and true emotion in her vocals, Santiago Torano, along with Ed Cherney (Grammy Award winning producer and engineer), brought together some of the most sought after players in the business.

Athena's body of work, much like the meaning of her name, was created out of personal wisdom and emotional warfare that she has grown from.

Siobhan Cottone, executive director of Lakeside Legacy Foundation, says, "The raw emotion expressed in Athena's music is something you won't want to miss."

Come to the Listening Room at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park on Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.LakesideLegacy.org or by contacting the box office at (815) 455-8000. If online sales have not sold out, tickets can also be purchased at the door for $25.

Lakeside encourages people to purchase tickets in advance. For more information, visit www.lakesidelegacy.org.

The Listening Room is located within Lakeside Legacy Arts Park at 401 Country Club Road, Crystal Lake. Lakeside Legacy is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and is also home to the Historic Dole Mansion.
