Elgin Junior Service Board to host its 30th production of 'Follies' April 26

The Elgin Junior Service Board will be hosting its 30th production of "Follies" on Saturday, April 26.

The special 2014 anniversary edition will echo the long-standing traditions of the original production, but will also feature some exciting changes.

In "The Many Faces of JSB," the traditional stage show will give way to an interactive dinner show of mystery and intrigue. A black-tie-optional, masquerade evening of song, dance, and support of JSB will leave you guessing, "who did it and why?"

The Elgin Junior Service Board, a nonprofit organization now in its 82 year, has 15 active members and hundreds of associate members throughout the Fox Valley area. Founded in 1932, Elgin Junior Service Board's mission has remained the same since inception - to enhance and support the health, education and well-being of women and children. The organization fulfills its mission through various service projects for local women and children, such as Cinderella's Closet and Clothing Center.

The service projects are funded by the biennial production of "Follies," which is Elgin Junior Service Board's only fundraiser.

This organization has thrived for 82 years because of the community support it has received. Join in on the mystery and fun all in support of a great cause on April 26 at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Elgin. There will be a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and show at 7 p.m. D.J. music and dancing will follow. Tickets are $60.
