Waterleaf Restaurant Hosts Chateau Montelena Wine Dinner July 10

Waterleaf restaurant in Glen Ellyn will host a Chateau Montelena wine dinner on Wednesday, July 10.

Following a 6:30 p.m. champagne reception, guests will enjoy an exclusive four-course prix fixe dinner at 7 p.m. complete with Chateau Montelena (Napa Valley) wine pairings.

“We are pleased to have Brian Baker, Chateau Montlena's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, joining us for the evening,” said Jean Pierre Leroux, Waterleaf General Manager. “It is a marvelous opportunity for our guests to personally meet and chat informally about the winery.”

Founded in 1882, Chateau Montelena Winery in Napa Valley, Calif., features 254 acres of picturesque land located at the base of Mount Saint Helena. The estate offers a diversity of soils and slopes that translate directly into the layers of complex flavors in the estate's wines. Waterleaf in Glen Ellyn features a contemporary approach to fine dining led by Chef Nadia Tilkian, who has created new spring lunch and dinner menus that highlight the use of locally-grown, seasonal ingredients. Known for its use of fresh, locally-grown, seasonal ingredients, Waterleaf received a three-star review from Crain's Chicago Business. Most recently, Waterleaf was one of just two first-year restaurants in DuPage County to receive a 2012 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
