July 25: CLC Community 50 Fest celebrates college's 50th Anniversary with live music, fireworks and more

Help celebrate the College of Lake County's 50th Anniversary with live music, fireworks, games, snack vendors and more at the CLC Community 50 Fest, which takes place from 6-9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 25 on the Technology Building's north lawn at the Grayslake Campus.

The event, which takes place rain or shine, will include a giant slide, carnival games, bouncy houses and obstacle courses. Attendees also can enjoy balloon twisting, face painting, photo ops, a baggo tournament and a car show organized by CLC automotive faculty. Free and low-cost snacks, desserts and beverages will be available. Music will be provided by The Mojo Daddies, a rock, blues and pop band. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Bring your own blankets, lawn chairs and a non-perishable food or cash donation to "stuff the bus" for the CLC SHARE pantry. Wear CLC gear from any year to be entered into a raffle.
