College Board Recognizes COD Testing Center in Top 100 National CLEP Sites

The College Board has recognized the Testing Center at College of DuPage as one of the top 100 College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) sites nationally.

CLEP allows students to demonstrate their mastery of introductory material and earn college credit for what they already know. CLEP is accepted by more than 2,900 colleges and universities and is administered by more than 1,800 test centers.

The list reflects the test centers that administer the most CLEP exams. Diane Szakonyi, manager of Learning Support Services at College of DuPage, said the recognition reflects the hard work on behalf of students and the community.

"College of DuPage offers all 33 CLEP exams," she said. "By providing this service, we can help students who are pursuing their education focus on the material they want to learn while giving them credit for what they already know."
