Crime | Death toll reaches 7 as police continue to seek motive for Highland Park parade shooting
As the death toll from Monday's mass shooting at an Independence Day parade in downtown Highland Park reached seven, authorities prepared Tuesday to bring charges against a 21-year-old Highwood man suspected of firing 70 shots from a high-powered rifle into the crowd of spectators.
