Cancer survivors blossom with Advocate Good Shepherd

Crystal Lake, IL – More cancer patients at Advocate Health Care blossom into survivors every year. Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital invites you to a morning of free screenings and cancer education at the Early Detection and Prevention Fair on Saturday, September 15 from 8 am – 12 pm at the Advocate Good Shepherd Outpatient Center, 525 Congress Parkway, Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital's Center for Cancer Care offers state-of-the-art technology, specialized treatment plans, and a team of some of the finest cancer specialists in the Midwest. All of these features lend an increase in survivorship for Good Shepherd patients.

Although, current treatments give us a fighting chance against cancer, the real key to survival is prevention and early detection.

The Early Detection and Prevention Fair features free prostate screenings, colon cancer screenings, pulmonary function tests, information on skin and lung cancer, and free giveaways. Flu shots will be administered for $20. Mammograms are available on a limited, walk-in basis (bring a doctor's order).
