Naperville North's Dieckmann stops Benet

A day after shutting out Downers Grove South, Naperville North's Emily Dieckmann combined with Lauren Clouston to 6-hit Benet for a 4-2 victory against Benet in Lisle. Sammy Marshall went 2-for-3 and scored a run and Caitlyn Warren drove in 2 runs for the Huskies (4-5).

Waubonsie Valley 5, Bartlett 0: Lauren Thresh twirled a seven-hitter for the Warriors (4-8, 3-1 Upstate Eight Conference) in Bartlett.

Neuqua Valley 7, Streamwood 1: Leigh Nebendahl homered, doubled and drove in 3 runs for the Wildcats (6-4, 4-2 Upstate Eight). Jenna Marsalli added 2 singles and scored 2 runs.

Glenbard North 16, Addison Trail 5: Sam Brezinski belted a 3-run homer and Kelsey Muller homered, doubled and drove in 3 runs for the Panthers (5-1). Alexis Simone also went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored and Jenny Nelson 4-for-4 with 3 runs scored.

Glenbard South 20, Willowbrook 0: Jenny Klich clubbed 2 homers and drove in 5 runs for the Raiders (10-0) in Villa Park. Winning pitcher Danielle Chitkowski and Jenny Wittenberg also went deep.

West Chicago 10, Oswego East 1: Mary Connolly (6-3) fired a 4-hitter, striking out 10, for the host Wildcats (8-5).

Immaculate Conception 11, Aurora Central 1: Erin Dunne (2-3) tossed a 3-hitter and also went 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored for the Knights (6-5). Maria Kieliszewski also went 3-for-4, driving in 3 runs.

Downers Grove South 10, Hinsdale Central 0: Katie Talbot struck out seven in a 4-hitter for the Mustangs (6-1). Marissa Mersch went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 runs scored and Alyssa Magallanes went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.

St. Francis 20, Rosary 1: Blaine Carragher went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI for the Spartans (9-5).
