Comedian Larry Miller at the MAC April 13
A Hollywood movie regular, one of Larry Miller's earliest performances was as the memorable store manager in “Pretty Woman,” alongside Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.
Since then, the comedian and actor has appeared in more than 100 film and television shows and was a member of Christopher Guest's ensemble cast in the films “Waiting for Guffman,” “Best in Show,” “A Mighty Wind,” and “For Your Consideration.”
The author and comedian brings his one-man show, “Cocktails with Larry Miller: Little League, Adultery and Other Bad Ideas,” to the Mainstage of the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd. in Glen Ellyn, at 8 p.m. Friday, April 13.
A regular guest on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Miller has been featured in a number of films and television shows, including “The Princess Diaries” and “Seinfeld.” He hosts “This Week with Larry Miller,” a podcast for the Ace Broadcasting network and is a contributing humorist to The Huffington Post.
Tickets to “Cocktails with Larry Miller” are $37 for adults, $35 for seniors and $27 for College of DuPage students and youth. First- and second-row tickets are $62 for adults, $60 for seniors and $52 for College of DuPage students and youth.
