West Chicago 14, Glenbard East 3: West Chicago (7-7, 1-4) scored 6 times in the fourth inning and 8 more in the fifth in the DuPage Valley Conference road game. Hunter Serrato hit a solo home run, and Blair Skarin and John Wehr each drove in 2 runs. Max Oppenheimer had an RBI for the Rams (2-10, 1-4).
Willowbrook 5, York 4: Senior Brett Buchanan went 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored, a double and a triple, and Brian Monette was 2-for-3 with a run and 2 RBI for the Warriors (10-7) in a West Suburban Conference crossover game. Joe Paparone homered for the Dukes.
Glenbard West 8, Proviso West 6: Sean Buckley (1-1) earned the victory and also went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Glenbard West in a West Suburban Silver game.
Waubonsie Valley 8, Streamwood 7: Sam Carius scored the game-winning run in the seventh inning when Streamwood couldn't turn a double play with one out. Carius was 4-for-4 with 3 RBI, 3 runs scored a homer and a double. Brian Deal (2-0) was the winning pitcher for the Warriors (7-7, 5-3 Upstate Eight Conference).
Lisle 6, Seneca 1: Jon Surber hit a sixth-inning grand slam to lead the Lions (13-4, 5-1 Interstate Eight Conference) to the road win. Ryan VanVolkenburg (2-0) threw a complete game for the win.
Walther Lutheran 7, St. Francis 6: Walther Lutheran scored 4 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to win in the Suburban Christian Conference. Eric Stout went 3-for-3 with a triple, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI for the Spartans (12-6, 4-3).
Wheaton Academy 7, St. Edward 4: In the Suburban Christian Conference, Alec McNally and Tate Fritz each doubled for the Warriors (10-8, 3-3).
Naperville North 8, West Aurora 7: Charlie White went 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI and the Huskies (11-2, 5-0) scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the DuPage Valley Conference win.
Wheaton North 13, Glenbard North 11: Ryan Sabalaskey homered for the Panthers (9-5, 2-3 DuPage Valley Conference), who lost when Wheaton North scored 7 runs in the seventh inning. Sophomore Jake Schieber doubled twice for the Falcons.
Chicago Christian 13, Montini 10: Jack Bowe went 4-for-5 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI for the Broncos (7-10, 3-3 Suburban Christian Conference).
